a collection of my poems

In a moonlit shiny sparkling night
When winds begin to blow,
And when they chill the soul through heart
And breath begins to slow;

With just no vents you wish to speak,
But sounds begin to fall.
It happens then the most bizarre,
That silence says it all.

The silent eyes say silent things
To the shiny sparkling star,
For all the goodness, all the love
Just silence is the power!

----------------------------------------

Was it a storm, was it a quake?
Some heartless shroud of a sad mistake?
A genuine song of a breezy morn,
Or life did waltz with love forlorn?

Was it the rain, a short-lived touch?
A life long pain, a lasting crutch?
Was it to live, was it to die;
To laugh and smile to sit and cry?

Would shadows of past bedeck my sky;
That every night shall end with sigh?
Was it a curse, was it a bane;
A serious lesson with some disdain?

Was it a weakness, a failure in lead?
Was it my strength, my sword and shield?
Was it to live and head on to die?
To suppress my tear, and stifle my sigh?

Was it the devil, was it the Lord;
An unknown path that I had trod?
Was it to lose, was it to win;
To spell the saga of God within?

----------------------------------------------

As I walked forth in the daily bound,
In the light breeze, in the birds' sound
In the limits of the earth onto the ground,
In the strife of the common world around;

Awaiting things that were to be.
A little more joy into my sea,
A simple smile of being free,
And little things we do not see;

A fresher world I saw in you,
And thought that sky was more than blue.
A different God in drops of dew,
That everything was so much new.

The flowers did smile, the winds once blew
The air had scent when I had you.
I wondered from the wings I knew,
And from my love my dreams I drew.

My world began to soar so high,
Above the world of gloomy sigh.
There was no self, there was no "I"
It was to love or but to die.

And then you crippled away my wing,
As I soared high where angels sing.
With little hopes I fluttered to fling,
And all I could was do nothing.

With swooping crash my world came down,
And shattered like a quake hit town.
It was to sit and but to frown,
And pick up from the dark and brown.

And wonder why so high I flew,
Why could you never hint a clue?
And pick those tiny pieces few
And live my life for rest of rue!!

-----------------------------------

I think I'll wait, I'll wait forever,
For the sun to shine, for the end of the river.
For the gentle breeze, till the last of my shiver.
I think I'll wait, I'll wait forever.

For all that are lost, and all that are gone;
From the dusk of the day to the end of the dawn.
For the darkest of days, I shall stop to see
What my faith can do, what my hopes can be.

That all will be good and all will be fine
That the rays of laughter shall always be mine.
I think I'll wait, I'll wait forever,
For the sun for the moon for the stars forever!

-----------------------------------------------------

It falls from the rainbows to come to your eyes,
It shakes off your sorrows, to think of the skies.
It's always so fresh, like the dew on the flower,
The drop of the diamond that knows what you are.

It makes you so strong and helps you to dare,
It helps you to feel and shows that you care.
Whatever the sorrow or laughter to share,
The pearl from the ocean shall always be there.

It washes the gloom to make it so bright,
It tells that the darkness is followed by light.
It comes with no reason, there's no asking why
It's always so calm, it's good that you cry.
It's so much like you, to live laugh and die.
It's always so peaceful and good that you cry!

-----------------------------------------------

When everything becomes so sweet,
And yet you feel it incomplete;
When every time you stop to say,
And yet you know that silence may,
It's then you know that there you are,
Talking to this season's shower.

When every time you smile, you cry;
And every time you breathe you sigh,
When life begins to move too fast
To think of future or of past.
It's then you know that there you are,
Singing to that lovely flower.

When thoughts are slow and distance far,
And still you long to see that power;
When life you know is a tale, you feel-
Of open wounds that must not heal.
It's then you know that there you are,
Thinking of your love that hour!

IN THE SEA OF LIFE

Another wave doth smile to rise,
To surge above the man in sea.
With sight of joy and slight despise
He splashes awestruck vigorously.

A moment past a roarer struck
It was so mighty than his luck;
He splashed and nearly drowned to death,
So down he went so out of breath.

He turned away his tragic look,
And to the joyous wave he took-
The shortest, splashing path that flowed
Against him to that unknown road.

But smiles then felt a howling blow
His splashing arms they did not row.
The awe this time had hit so hard,
The slightest hope he could not show.

And tired now to think he could
He saw the roarer's rising hood;
He could not move, he could not feel
That sea now pushed below his heel.

In a moment when he thought he's gone,
The roarer rose him to the dawn
Of life as new as the coolest breeze,
That nothing in world could ever seize.

All men like him in ocean stand
Of joys and sorrows of the land.
And if they splash so hard as he,
So down they go in a dreadful spree,

That never a darkest storm doth raise,
And loss and gloom is all to face.
And he who stays too calm to frown,
Is he who takes away the crown.

------------------------------------

When life had been so rude to me,
That storms had battered my destiny;
When love had shattered my last of hopes,
My friend you smiled and set me free.

You blew my sorrows and shackled my pain,
You made me hear my laughter again.
You made me feel like never before;
You made me as peaceful as sea on the shore.

Your warmth and love I can never return
But the lamp of friendship forever to burn,
Whenever you need a shoulder, a hand
I shall be there beside you before you can yearn.

-------------------------------------------------------
When I was born I cried and you got worried,
I kept you on your toes forever; ever since then
You stopped living “your” life; your desires buried.
How amazed I am to see that you are never tired
Of my needs, my cribbing, my fantasies,
My answering back, my stupidities.

What love motivates your inner soul?
What vastness ripples in your heart’s seas?
You never asked back for more;
You never asked for anything at all.
And as you continue to rise tall
Above the nothingness of my existence,
You give me meaning; you are my keys!
You set me right, my ambiguities.

With every rising sun, I bow to your greatness
Your wisdom, your sainthood, your forgiveness.
Your peace, your love and your patience through years,
Your angry brows, your unnecessary fears.
Thank you for bringing me into being,
So that I know I am a part of some paradise here.

---------------------------------------

A changing soul, a passing smile,
Those searching eyes that gaze the mile;
A longing heart, a sudden tear
Is all that takes away my fear,

To like and love all things I hate;
To love to care and leave to fate,
Your lovely lies, your careless ways,
And wish you joy for endless days.

There must be something special in you,
That twinkles from the nature's hue.
That simple things you say or do,
Shall always be so fresh and new.

That even when all seasons pass,
And leaves of time are blown from grass,
When you'll forget that someone was
All streams of distance it shall cross.

And I shall gaze from mile to mile,
With every tear to wish you smile,

And long for all your careless ways

And wish you joy for endless days!!

----------------------------------

Lost in the pages of life…
In the echoes of laughter, in the silent tears;
In the valiant glow, in the gloomy fears,
In days to months and months to years…
Lost in the pages of life.

In love and hate; unrewarded care,
In sighs before an answered prayer.
In holding back, in venting fair…
Lost in the pages of life.

In the moments sublime and storms in sea,
In the confinement of thoughts and breathing free;
In the memories of past and dreams to be…
I am lost in the pages of life.
